Mission
The mission of the programs offered in the Midwifery Ministry Department is to educate students to become competent and professional midwives in all aspects of maternity care in an endeavor to serve mothers and families as 21st century Christian midwives from a Seventh-Day Adventist, biblically based, perspective.
Vision
To educate and train women to attend expectant mothers in all phases of pregnancy, from prenatal to newborn care. We also aspire to train and equip women to serve in their communities as Christian Midwives. This field has proven to be an open door to share the gospel and the last-day message to expectant parents.
Program Goals
The Midwifery Ministry Department is designed to educate, equip, and train women in the fields of childbirth and newborn care to provide professional, Christ-centered services to mothers and families in out-of-hospital settings.
